"Steven" unfolds the gripping narrative of Steve's life in Budapest before the Nazi invasion, the heart-wrenching experience of being arrested with his mother by the Gestapo, the unimaginable hardships of cattle-car transport, 12 months in a concentration camp, a death march in the snow, liberation by the U.S. 7th Army, and the harrowing and cunning journey to freedom that ensued.
